About
I am a community-engaged project professional, with experience supporting and leading initiatives across nonprofit and small business environments.
I am passionate about equitable and inclusive cities, and am of the belief that city building efforts should foster connection through active transportation, placemaking, heritage, and education, with reconciliation and creativity at the forefront.
My approach to creativity, playfulness, and cultural understanding stems from my design practice as a jeweller and small-scale sculptor, where I explore the impact of small-scale design, visual storytelling, and the creative expression of identity and culture. This has heavily contributed to my general design philosphy and view on the role of art and placemaking in developing a strong identity and approach to cultural representation in multicultural cities.
